Prepare horses for owner to ride, trim manes, cleaning tack, handle horses for farrier. Feed & water all horses on farm. Work with babies (halter and lead training), & 3 year olds (getting used to saddle, bridle, teaching to lunge, etc).
Empress Arabians (Dec. 2000 - Dec. 2002)- Breeding & Health Care Manager
Responsible for: Breeding on-farm mares via shipped semen. Stallion collection & shipping semen. Assisted in setting up & purchasing supplies for new breeding lab. Foaling out mares, weaning & halterbreaking foals. All worming, vaccinations, and vet scheduling/handling for 100+ horses. All feeding, watering, & farrier scheduling/handling for outside horses (not in training). Emergency illness & injury care. Administration of shots (IV & IM) & oral medications. Monitoring & ordering supplies. Some ground training of 2 yr. olds. Overseeing farm while farm manager & trainers are at shows. Stallion: Monaco (Pinto Saddlebred).
Cornerstone Farm (July 2000 - Dec. 2000)
Assist with stallion handling, collection, and mare insemination. Promote, train, groom, and show stallions and sale horses.

Provide technical support for internet service provider.
Cornerstone Farm (April 24 - May 1, 2000)
Trained 4 stallions to phantom. Collected & examined semen, checked for proper cooling at 24, 48, and 72 hrs. Trained owners in stallion collection, mare insemination, and semen extending and shipping procedures. Prepared mare tracking records, and a breeding/shipped semen contract using Corel.
Stallions: HD Fury's Eclipse (Egyptian Arab), NF Black Earl (Welsh Cob), CS Bravehart (Pinto Arab), & Cornerstone Colors (Paint Pony).
Arabians, Ltd (1997 - 1999)
Responsible for daily health care of 150+ horses: deworming, vaccinations, daily
medications, basic injury care, drawing blood, shots(subcutaneous, IV and IM).
Breeding: collected stallions, handled stallions for collection(7 on farm), transported
semen, AI, caslicks removals, and uterus infusions. Trained young stallions to phantom.
Foaled out mares, weaned
and halterbroke foals. Involved in Texas A&M study on rhodoccocus equi. Substituted
for breeding/farm manager in his absence.
Also did computer recordkeeping.
Stallions: (straight Egyptian) Thee Desperado, The Minstril, Thee Infidel, Thee Makers Mark,
Windspree Mirage, Pimlico RCA, Rahfeekh.
Willow Springs Farm (3/99 - 10/99)
Collected stallion and bred mares on farm and via shipped semen.
Responsible for daily care of 28 warmblood horses.
Stallion: (Hannoverian) Florian.
Freisinger Warmbluts (1996 - 1997)
Daily care of approximately 25 horses (including stallions): feeding, watering
turn out, mucking stalls. Also some grooming, longeing and riding.
Stallions: (Trakehners) Inselkonig, Kashmir, Pikor.
Annette Thompson (August 1996 - November 1996)
Nanny for 2 children under 5. Some housekeeping and cooking.
Computer input and picture scanning for internet adoption website.
Also employed
part time from October 1995 - May 1996 3 days a week with same responsibilities.
