I am a 30 year old horse woman and registered nurse. I'm currently working at Providence Hospital in the ER, but plan to move to Charlottesville, VA in August/September to work in their level 1 trauma center. Plus, they have more horsey events, and several great farms there. I hope to eventually work for the International Medical Corps. Please feel free to glance over my resume. I have a beautiful 12 year old Arab mare,CS Marlyn (Madron x Misha Adana, pictured at right) and my little guy, Magi's Gift (Feuertanzer x CS Marlyn), born on Mother's Day, May 11th, 2003 at 7:30 am. Marlyn is looking for a new home, due to lack of time and not wanting to do any more breeding. Baby is just getting started under saddle, and is being a perfect gentleman about the whole thing. He is showing great jumping potential, soaring over 4' obstacles on the lunge line with no problems, and starting over spreads. We will eventually do some eventing, hopefully. We also have 2 new additions to our family, Zoey and Bob. Zoey is a 1 year old lab/husky cross who loves going for hikes at Cameron Park and playing out in the field when I'm out with the horses. Bob is a 5 year old gray and white paint gelding who will be a friends and family riding horse, as well as just a companion for the Baby. You can see pics of both on my Picasa page.
